Privacy policy

This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 2026

Who this applies to

This privacy policy covers the Digitaxpert website. It describes how we handle information collected through the site itself. Information you provide once you become a client is handled under your engagement letter and the terms that apply to that professional relationship.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

  • Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect what you choose to send — typically your name, email address, the service you're interested in, and any message you write.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and any analytics we enable may record standard technical data such as your browser type, device, and pages viewed. Analytics is only active if we have configured it; where it is, we use it to understand site usage in aggregate.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and follow up about our services.
  • To provide, maintain, and improve this website.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party providers to run the site, and your information may be processed by them only as needed to deliver those services:

  • Contact form processing. When our contact form is connected to a form-handling service, the details you submit are transmitted to that provider so your message can reach us. If the form is not connected, it falls back to sending an email directly to us.
  • Web fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to Google's servers to deliver those font files.
  • Analytics. If enabled, an analytics provider helps us understand aggregate site usage.

Cookies and similar technologies

Any analytics we enable may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to read the site or contact us.

Data retention and security

We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for our legitimate business and legal purposes, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive documents or identifiers (such as Social Security numbers) through the contact form — we'll set up a secure channel once you're a client.

Your choices and contact

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or request that we update or delete it, by emailinginfo@digitaxpert.com. We'll respond as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. See also our terms of useand disclaimer.
